Words of Faith


There are many great faith teachings in the Bible. There are many faith teachers in the church. I have heard multitudes that stand on faith, to claim all of the wonderful benefits of the Kingdom of Heaven. These are all wonderful, the gifts, the promises, the blessings of god that we receive and use on our journey to becoming a mature Christian.

A mature Christian is one who follows the greatest role model of all time, Jesus Christ. He once said, "The greatest thing a man can do is lay down his life for his brother."

In the garden of Gethsemane, when He prayed "O My Father, if this cup may not pass away from Me, except that I drink it, Thy will be done." He gave us the greatest example of faith saying yes to God when it is painful, when it is not what we would like.

I am reminded of the great words of faith spoken long ago, by our brother Job. Yea, though He slay me, yet I will trust in Him.

I have great joy with those who are sharing through faith a wonderful life. But I pray for those who fight on, looking for the City of God which is yet to come.
